i have been trying to learn about your Christmas . please send pictures of the girls dressed up . and the house decorated all in lights . i don't think i could eat lutfish but julafton sounds good, is risgryngrot the same as our rice pudding if so it is very good . and pepparkakor we make into gingerbread men . i would like a picture of the table with all the food on it . i bet it is a sight to behold

oh, the christmas table is sure something to behold...especially if they do it with EVERY little thing that traditionally goes in it.

lutfisk is actually OK, no real taste to the fish itself, you taste the sauce and the smokey bacon mostly.

risgrynsgröt is similar to rice pudding. can't verify that by tatse since i never had rice pudding before...but rice, cream and sugar, there's only so many ways it could taste.

swedish gingebread is quite a bit more "spicey" than ours...much more ginger flavor.
